I have a 3 year old golden retriever and have been using two shepherds services since I rescued my dog. Not only will your dog get the proper training but you can rest assured that they will be getting the proper care and treatment they need while you’re away. Two shepherds provide Daily/weekly photo and video updates showing your pups progress! It’s basically puppy camp and it rules! 10/10 recommended!

This is a longer review. Amanda and Trish at Two Shepherds are 2 of the most amazing people I’ve ever had to pleasure of doing business with. I had gotten a German shepherd after my last one passed at 13 years old. My last one was a female and now I have a male Memphis. He is a gem. But he is also extremely different than my last shepherd and needed more time for exercise and training. I’m a single mom with 3 jobs. So. I looked for trainers, board and trains were upwards of $3k. Which I did not have. I looked into private trainers, one of them very nice fairly priced $75 a session at my home, but Memphis walked her as a pup and most of the time was spent talking to me not training him or me how to train him. The next one was a 30+ year trainer of GSD K9s who refused to give me references because his “experience discussed on his website should be enough”. Then I stumbled on Two Shepherds. By that time Memphis was 18 months. We did a meet and greet and then Amanda was running a promotional training program. I discussed with Amanda how Memphis’s behavior was at that point because he was older than he should have been for the program. Amanda agreed to see how it went. So I paid $700 with a contract, expecting no refund, for 4 weeks of training. Weeks 1 and 3 were full day 8-6 Wed thurs fri. Then week 2 and 4, sleep over Wed to Fri. Well Memphis refused to go in the house, also this is dead of winter. So Amanda reached out, and while she could have said “hey your dog isn’t a good fit, come get him no refund” SHE DIDNT! She said” hey he refuses to come inside it’s too cold for him to be outside for 8 hours at a clip, let’s adjust” so we did. We did half day trainings until he was willing to go inside then added full day trainings. All of this until we reach the $700 balance on my account. Not only that, but since I had signed him up for a program, she gave me a discounted rate for the half and full day trainings so he would get the same amount of time. Amanda and Trish are patient, compassionate, caring, trustworthy, and intelligent. Amanda gives me tips and tricks for training at home between sessions and my Memphis has gained so much confidence working with them and is in general such a happier pup I have also started joining their weekend pack walks to help him with exposure and exercise. I don’t know about others experiences but I can say with total confidence I am grateful for the amazing ladies Amanda and Trish are! And I am so happy to recommend Two Shepherds LLC.

I don’t know what magic Amanda worked with my puppy, but WOW! My girl came out from a 2 week board and train a wonderful dog! She’s calmer, easier to manage, walks great on leash, loves her crate! I felt that I was doing pretty well on my own with YouTube and research to train my dog, but Amanda just took it to a whole new level. She was communicative the entire time and I felt absolutely safe that my girl was well taken care of as well as getting the training and discipline that she needed. I couldn’t recommend Amanda enough, thank you so much! Ps- she came recommended through a friend who only trusts his dog with the best.

Personable service, great communication and open running area for dog training and playing. I've had a positive experience with boarding, training and doggy day care.
I'm an active customer of Two Shepherds and have used their services for a board & train, doggy day care and boarding for about two now. We had adopted a young dog with a lot of energy and as she became comfortable in the house, she started pushing boundaries... chewing chair legs, pulling on the leash, and more. We knew we needed help.
I reached out to Amanda at Two Shepherds and, with an upcoming vacation, we arranged a board and train. I was very impressed with their back yard, which I much preferred over the other boarding places in the area. During our trip, we received daily written reports on the training along with videos. Our dog really improved over those two weeks. She responded to commands, stopped chewing up our chairs and became a great walker. When we returned home, we had a private session with Amanda to teach us the commands and behaviors.
We since used Two Shepherds for boarding and doggy day care. Again, great communication and my dog gets so excited as we pull up to the house.

I can’t say enough about Amanda from Two Shepards LLC!! I sent my daughter’s dog Toast to Amanda for training. Toast was 80lbs and only 7 months old. To say he had no boundaries or etiquette is an understatement!!
After a few weeks with Amanda, Toast is 💯 % happier! He has learned social structure, knows how to walk on a leash, how to take corrections, what’s expected of him, and has a great foundation to build upon.
Without Amanda’s direction and guidance, Toast would be a nightmare!! I thank you immensely for the love and devotion you put into Toast. His future now looks bright!!!
Sal- Roxie
We rescued our dog Roxie around there years ago and were met with many challenges. Fear, aggression, reaction, and poor behavior. We tried puppy training classes and even had a trainer come to our home for multiple sessions with little to no improvement. These one size fits all training methods were not working for Roxie. We really felt out of options. We were then introduced to Amanda through a previous client’s/neighbor’s glowing review of the Two Shepherds Training Program. She came to our house to assess Roxie and was confident in her ability to help her and improve our situation. After a few weeks of the customized training program with Amanda, Roxie came back to us with great improvement, including more confidence. We received post program training exercise suggestions that we were only too eager to follow as the marked improvement excited and encouraged us to follow through. We were able to walk on the street without fear or reaction. She also learned so many new commands. Amanda’s training program was the best thing that could have happened to Roxie and to us.
With the success of Amanda’s program, we continue to bring Roxie to Two Shepherds for weekly day camp sessions and we only trust Amanda to board Roxie when we’re out of town.
